Position: Assistant Coach, Middle School Wrestling

Department: Athletics

Reports to: Athletic Director

Wages:  Consistent with TREA Master Bargaining Agreement; Schedule C

 

Purpose:

The Three Rivers Community Schools 

 

Required Qualifications:

1. Satisfactory performance in present position and be outgoing, positive, energetic, self-motivated, and able to work alone and unsupervised. Candidate must maintain a professional attitude at all times. 
2. High School Diploma.
3. Ability and willingness to work and communicate positively with students, staff, administrators, parents, community, and press/media.
4. Able to teach fundamentals of 
5. Knowledge of facilities, equipment, and emergency first aid care.
6. Commitment to philosophy of fair play and sportsmanship.
7. Committed to supporting the school, school district, and athletic conference; attending related meetings.
8. Available for practices, contests, and bus trips, including those scheduled on weekends. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job duty.  
9. Willingness to seek opportunities for self and program improvement 

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education
2. Previous record of positive coaching and competitive experience in 
3. Knowledge of MHSAA rules and regulations
